Digital added value for city and location marketing

Hanau/Angermünde, April 2020 – Cooperation between immovativ and VR-EASY offers municipalities new ways of activating and marketing space and vacancies, as well as presenting city centres and local retail trade.

immovativ GmbH from Hanau and VR-EASY GmbH from Angermünde have two basic similarities. Both strive to increase the digital presence of local authorities and business development agencies for effective location marketing, and both are members of Deutsche Telekom’s Techboost program. The two companies got to know each other through the latter and immediately discovered numerous synergies.

VR-EASY develops virtual tours for municipalities from 360° images on the ground and from the air. From the presentation of touristic highlights, the presentation of retail trade, the virtual inspection of industrial areas to the powerful image of the local fire brigade, the application possibilities are manifold. For example, citizen participation processes can also be accompanied digitally. The basis for this is a new development of the company, which enables the storage and processing of 360° content in an innovative cloud-based tool. It is characterised by intuitive operation and numerous functions and can therefore be easily used in various areas of online and location marketing, even by “non-experts”.

immovativ GmbH focuses on the identification, survey, management and activation of inner city potential areas and vacant properties. For this purpose, the company has developed software solutions and portals that give local authorities the opportunity to present local vacancies on the Internet in a Google-relevant manner with a high reach, while at the same time building up a register of potential sites. In addition, business development agencies and local authorities throughout Germany manage and market residential and commercial areas via the platforms of the Hanau-based company.
