Under the label R56+, various partners from postcode region 56 have joined forces in R56+ Regionalmarketing GmbH & Co. KGaA. Together they market the region and its high quality of life. Last year, the R56+ Award was launched as a competition to initiate digital projects that strengthen the region in the areas of learning, working and living and thus make it fit for the competition between regions.
Nearly 70 applications were submitted, showing how topical the subject of regional marketing and digitization is. Projects were submitted from a wide range of subject areas, including “Economy”, “Social Affairs”, “Education”, “Sport”, “Culture” and “Mobility”.
